I have a nephew who attends Austin East High. As a guardian I am struggling with the way the school is teaching outr kids today. with no Home work or any school books. for students to work out of. my challeng has been to over come my child low self asteem. and the depression he is going threw. He has failed his last two semester because he gets behind on assignments or he loses interest in the class projects. I have noticed that when I sit down with him. He knows the work and he even finish the work very quikly. I am hoping that coming to this event will help parents like me. my name is cordell Sherman. I have a nephew who attends Austin East High.
